Implemented in November 2025, this project undertakes the complete relocation of a full-scale 5000 tons per day (TPD) new dry-process cement production line to Pakistan, covering full-plant dismantling, equipment maintenance, overall refurbishment, professional packaging, cross-border transportation and systematic migration. The production line is equipped with a core CITIC LGMS5725 vertical roller mill (VRM), which serves as the key raw meal grinding equipment for the entire clinker production system. This cross-border cement industrial relocation project represents a typical high-standard engineering practice for the reuse and transnational deployment of large-scale cement complete equipment in the international cement industry.
The original production line adopts mature and reliable new dry-process cement technology, which is the mainstream technical configuration for medium and large-scale cement clinker manufacturing. As the core grinding facility, the CITIC LGMS5725 vertical roller mill integrates material crushing, grinding, hot air drying and powder classification into one compact unit. It is responsible for processing limestone, clay and other raw materials to produce qualified cement raw meal, directly determining the production capacity, grinding efficiency and operational stability of the whole cement plant. With advanced structural design and high wear-resistant components, this VRM equipment features low energy consumption, large throughput and convenient maintenance, making it a widely applied core device in modern cement raw meal preparation systems.
The overall project implementation covers all main process equipment and auxiliary systems of the cement production line, including rotary kiln, five-stage cyclone preheater, clinker cooler, raw material conveying system, dust removal system, electrical control system and steel structure facilities. During the dismantling phase, all equipment components, pipelines, electrical circuits and structural parts are disassembled in accordance with international cement engineering specifications. Each part is marked, classified and recorded systematically to ensure accurate reinstallation and assembly at the new plant site in Pakistan.
After dismantling, comprehensive inspection, maintenance and refurbishment works are carried out for all key equipment. For the core CITIC LGMS5725 vertical roller mill, professional detection is performed on grinding rollers, grinding tables, hydraulic systems, sealing assemblies and transmission components. Worn parts are repaired or replaced, lubrication systems are cleaned and calibrated, and overall equipment performance is fully restored to the original design parameters. Meanwhile, aging pipelines, damaged electrical components and worn mechanical parts of the entire production line are comprehensively refurbished to eliminate potential operation risks and guarantee stable long-term operation after relocation.
All disassembled equipment and spare parts are treated with anti-rust, moisture-proof and anti-collision protection before containerized transportation. Strict logistics supervision and cargo management ensure complete and intact delivery of all equipment to Pakistan.
This project effectively realizes the secondary utilization and value renewal of high-value cement complete equipment, significantly reducing the investment cost and construction period for new cement production capacity in Pakistan. It fully validates the excellent stability, maintainability and reusability of CITIC LGMS5725 vertical roller mill equipment and domestic new dry-process cement production lines. Furthermore, the project accumulates standardized technical and management experience in full-plant dismantling, precision refurbishment and cross-border transportation of large cement plants, providing solid reference for subsequent international cement equipment relocation and EPC projects, and effectively boosting the development of Pakistan’s cement industry and local infrastructure construction.
