5000TPD Full-set Cement Plant Relocation to Pakistan (Equipped with VRM CITIC LGMS5725 )
2026/05/23
Explore the relocation of a 5000TPD cement plant to Pakistan, featuring the advanced VRM CITIC LGMS5725 technology.
Commenced in January 2026, this project focuses on the full relocation of a complete 5000 tons per day (TPD) new dry-process cement production line to Egypt, covering full-plant dismantling, technical overhaul, equipment refurbishment, system restoration, professional logistics delivery and overseas reinstallation preparation. Differentiated from conventional factory relocation projects, this project highlights targeted technical treatment for the core CITIC LGMS 5725 vertical roller mill (VRM) and the entire dust collection system, two critical functional modules that guarantee environmental compliance and high-efficiency grinding performance for modern cement manufacturing.
The original production line adopts internationally recognized precalciner cement production technology, with complete process flows including raw material grinding, clinker calcination, clinker cooling and cement auxiliary processing. The CITIC LGMS 5725 vertical roller mill serves as the pivotal raw meal grinding equipment of the production line. Optimized for large-volume raw material processing, this VRM equipment realizes integrated functions of material grinding, hot gas drying and powder separation. It effectively processes raw materials such as limestone, sandstone and gypsum, ensuring consistent raw meal fineness, uniform moisture content and stable feeding capacity for the subsequent calcination system, which lays a foundational guarantee for qualified clinker output.
Dust emission control is a core indicator of environmentally friendly cement plants. The full-set dust removal system, including bag dust collectors, pipeline dedusting units and negative pressure ventilation systems, is fully dismantled, inspected and refurbished in this project. During the technical processing stage, professional air tightness testing, filter bag replacement, fan performance calibration and pipeline blockage cleaning are implemented for all dust removal equipment. This systematic maintenance eliminates air leakage, dust overflow and insufficient negative pressure problems, enabling the renovated dust collection system to fully meet Egypt’s local industrial environmental protection emission standards after relocation.
The overall construction scope covers all main process equipment and auxiliary facilities of the cement plant. The implementation process includes standardized classified dismantling of the LGMS 5725 VRM grinding roller assembly, grinding table, hydraulic pressure station and reducer, as well as systematic disassembly of preheater tower, rotary kiln, grate cooler, material conveying equipment and central control system. All disassembled mechanical parts, electrical components and pipeline accessories are numbered, sorted and recorded in detail to ensure zero assembly deviation during overseas reconstruction.
After dismantling, comprehensive fault detection and performance refurbishment are carried out for worn and aging equipment. For the LGMS 5725 vertical roller mill, precision gap calibration of grinding components, hydraulic system pressure debugging and lubrication circuit overall maintenance are completed to restore the rated grinding capacity and operational stability. Meanwhile, overall overhaul and upgrading of the dust removal system optimize dust collecting efficiency and reduce factory fugitive dust, achieving energy-saving and environmentally friendly production targets.
In terms of cross-border engineering transportation, all precision equipment and vulnerable parts adopt professional shockproof, moisture-proof and anti-corrosion packaging solutions. Containerized segmented transportation and whole-process cargo tracking management are adopted to ensure safe and complete delivery of all equipment to the Egyptian project site.
This large-scale cement plant relocation project effectively activates the residual value of mature dry-process cement production equipment. Through targeted renovation of core LGMS5725 VRM grinding system and environmental-friendly dust removal system, the relocated production line restores complete 5000TPD design capacity and meets modern green cement production standards. The project not only lowers the infrastructure investment cost and shortens the construction cycle for Egypt’s local cement industry upgrading, but also accumulates rich technical experience for targeted maintenance, environmental system optimization and cross-border relocation of large VRM grinding units, providing a replicable engineering reference for global green cement equipment renewal and transnational plant migration projects.
